About Us
Created by Hannah Brillhart and Claire Smiley in Fall 2024, 806 Kids 4 Change is a (pending) 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to making a difference in the West Texas community. The organization started with an idea, posed by Hannah, to give every kid in a local non-profit a teddy bear for the holiday season. From there, over 30 students helped to bring a Christmas party to life. Now, the group has grown to a team of 8 directors and a board of students who are all devoted to making a meaningful impact in the community.
We follow the core principle explained in Mathew 20:26, “But whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.”
